It's the little things...

Here's my list of 5 small and inexpensive changes that have big impact in a home renovation:

1. Fresh paint - This is a change that is both cost effective and produces immediate results to both the look and feel of a room.

2. Skirting boards - The difference skirting boards made in our home was enormous, it made the whole house feel finished, clean and fresh. If yours are old or outdated, try using thick white skirting boards, it makes the room feel bigger.

3. Fresh flowers or plants - decorating your home with plants or flowers is a beautiful and affordable way to transform it into a relaxing and calm space. There are a wide array of shapes, colours, textures and types of plants out there to suit all design styles.
